The following excerpt is from XDC’s media release.
“March 12, 2011 (Irwindale, CA) – Chelsea DeNofa, from Seabrook, Texas, defeated Aurimas ‘Odi’ Bachkis from Wrightwood, California, in the final round of tandem competition at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale to win the first Xtreme Drift Circuit event of 2011.
George Marstanovic, from Flagstaff, Arizona, finished third overall after winning the Consolation Round when Maui, Hawaii’s Joshua Steele, driving the NST / NOS Energy Drink / Neverslo Nissan S13.4, was unable to make the second run of the round.”

I must love this track since I seem to be there regularly.
This time it was for Xtreme Drift Circuit's season opener and the Remix car show. Bikinis, beer, chrome, and tire smoke.... What else could anyone ask for?!? I arrived with my good friends Justin Muir from Pure Street Photo and Chris Minshall of CMpixels Photography. The day turned out to be absolutely perfect. The clouds kept temps down a touch and provided a huge soft box for us lucky enough to be on track with our cameras. The drifting was top notch, the models were hot, and so were the drivers! I can't thank the people at XDC for being so accommodating to all their media interests. Props for putting on a great event for us to cover! If you haven't been to an XDC event you are missing out. Proof is in the pics...

Odi Backhis in his wildly colored S14 killed it with a 2nd place after qualifying 14th.
Jeff Abbot and his Miata made it into the top 16 with his 15th place position.
